Scottish Poker Championships 2008

Maybury Casino, Edinburgh, Scotland

PokerKings is sending players to the prestigious Scottish Poker Championships taking place between the 25th and the 31st of August 2008

The championships will be held at the Maybury Casino in Edinburgh, Scotland, from the 25th to the 31st of August 2008. The prize is a €3,800 package including entry to the following events:

You can win one of these seats via the satellites running over the next twelve weeks giving entry into one of the monthly €200 online finals on the 8th June, 6th July & 3rd August.

€2.20 satellites will run all day every day. Winners of the daily satellites will win entry into the €22 weekly final at 15:30 GMT to compete for a €200 seat in the monthly online finals.

You can also qualify through our daily €11 Scottish Super Sat; which will run every day, giving direct entry straight to the €200 Online Final.

Our Poker League is an exciting race where you can measure yourself against other poker players for a whole month and win attractive prize money. The payout of the winnings at each tournament follows the standard payout procedure of PokerKings. The top ten players of each tournament receive tournament points and are featured in a top-ten list that you can view on our website. Every MONDAY you'll get DOUBLE POINTS! At the end of each month, we award €2,000 prize money, depending on the player’s rank in the list. Each registered member of PokerKings can participate! Final Table Freeroll

With our new Final Table Freeroll, you can win it big when you make it to three consecutive final tables. This qualifies you for one of the ten seats in our exclusive €15,000 final table, where every player takes home winnings between €250 and €3,500.

Any of our 21 daily guaranteed tournaments (except the €50 GTD) qualifies, as well as the Sunday €100,000 Guaranteed (see list of Guaranteed Tournaments above). If you are not sure whether a tournament qualifies for the Final Table Freeroll promotion, just check in the PokerKings lobby. In the tournament information, all qualifying tournaments are identified as “FTF QUALIFIER”.

Your three final tables must be consecutive, i.e. you must make the final table in three guaranteed tournaments in a row with no other guaranteed tournaments in- between where you don’t make the final table. Players from the same household or IP address cannot use the same final tables for qualification.

The Final Table Freeroll starts when ten players have qualified through their participation in three consecutive guaranteed tournaments. Once you’ve qualified please send an e-mail within 24 hours to manager@pokerkings.com to claim your seat at the Final Table Freeroll. After we have verified your qualification, we will provide you with detailed information on the date and time of the Final Table Freeroll.

Three FPPTs every week

PokerKings holds three tournaments every week totalling €2,000 in additional tournament money, where you can use your Frequent Player Points (FPPs):

You can collect player points at our cash tables, or at our buy-in tournaments. You receive one (1) FPP for every €0.25 that you obtain as a rake at the cash tables. At tournaments, you receive four (4) FPPs for every €1 that you paid in tournament fees.
